Cenova Command 1.0.1

Cenova Command 1.0.1 is a maintenance and refinement release that builds on 1.0. It adds greater control over scan execution, faster deduplication through batch hash computing, a range of functional improvements and in-product guidance updates, and resolves a number of bugs reported against 1.0.

1. New features
Scan execution control
Manually trigger a scan on demand, stop a scan that's already running, and paste a full list of paths straight into the exclude-paths field.
Batch hash computing
Seismic and well deduplication can compute hashes for multiple groups in a single batch, speeding up duplicate detection.
1.1 Scan execution control
You now have far more control over how and when scans run:
- Manual trigger — start a scan on demand instead of waiting for the next scheduled run.
- Stop a running scan — halt a scan that's already in progress.
- Bulk exclude paths — copy and paste a list of paths directly into the exclude-paths field, rather than entering them one at a time.
1.2 Batch hash computing
Seismic and well deduplication can now compute MD5 hashes for multiple groups in a single batch, improving the speed and efficiency of duplicate detection across large landscapes.
2. Improvements
2.1 Functional improvements
- Date range filtering — filter data by a custom date range.
- Tag input validation — tags now only accept alphanumeric input.
- Disk utilization alignment — disk utilization values now line up correctly in the Summary dashboard.
- Preferences page cleanup — removed stray class-function text from the Preferences page.
2.2 In-product guidance & labelling
- Approval/denial reason label — the Reason field is now titled "Reason for Approval/Denial" for clarity.
- Notification banner text — reworded the "If there are any files missing…" notification banner.
- Cron schedule tooltip — added a tooltip explaining the cron schedule input.
- Pre-Assessment "Total Pot. Dup" clarity — clearer guidance on the "Total Pot. Dup" value in Pre-Assessment.
- Application graph hover guidance — added an explanation of what the hover-over represents for a point on the application graph.
3. Bug fixes
- Fixed the installer hanging when the user does not have permission to run PowerShell scripts.
- Fixed subsurface tables being limited to 100 rows.
- Fixed an issue where copying
cenova.dbinto the temp folder allowed it to be altered and returned to Cenova. - Fixed inconsistent timeframe filter behaviour between tabs.
- Fixed repeated "Unauthorized" errors after a long idle session.
- Fixed the distinct approver message always saving the same value.
- Fixed altering the schedule in settings reverting back to default.
- Fixed selecting an origin path in the Application tab not updating the displayed values.
4. Upgrade notes
- Cenova Command 1.0.1 can be installed directly over version 1.0.
- Existing data and configurations from 1.0 are preserved.
